 Renbukan Karate - Darling Downs is based in Toowoomba in Queensland, Australia but also  offers adult  classes in Dalby and Allora.   Classes have been operating in the area since 1982 and, in the ensuing period,  have produced many of the state's finest karate athletes and instructors.  Chief Instructor, Shihan Mike Jordan, 5th Dan, has been studying and teaching the art for almost 50 years and has travelled the world to train with the best exponents  to complement the  classes that he now teaches and oversees. Although well known for producing elite level karate competitors, the present day classes are directed more towards providing highly effective self defence techniques derived from the traditional kata of the Shito-ryu style.  The classes are self-paced to allow beginners of any age to adapt to the physical and mental challenges  but, over a period of time,  a high level of fitness will be derived.
